Tunage Tuesday - Pokemon Parkour And More

Ever wonder what it would be like to live in a Pokemon World?
Pokemon GO has given us a glimpse of that, but walking around with our phones out isn't a true Pokexperience.

I have a feeling it would be much more like this

yes, the people over at Devin Super Tramp really know how to take on the full pokeparticipation

and it's not just Pokeomon they want to do in real life, but Assassin's Creed as well

Another fun real life video game parkour experience is this great video by Dark Pixel

and not so much video game, but awesome none the less is this free running video by Ronnie Street Stunts who just wants to be a real Jedi

Not that any of us can blame these guys for wanting to bring the imaginary into the everyday.
Man, I wish I could parkour like that! But I'm much more on the level of Wheezy Waiter

yup, that's about my level, although I'm not sure I can even run for that long :p

How about you? What's your parkour level?

Geeky Temporary Tattoos

This is my 400th post!!! Woo Hoo! Go me!
and to celebrate. I'm going to talk about something I love!
Tattoos!

I love tattoos, but damn do they hurt.
I have 4 as it is already.
My 2 bees that make up my chest piece, my star on the small of my back and my rebel alliance tattoo on my left hip.

beeeeeeees.....
But I want more.... oh so many more.....

I'm always trying to decide what I want next and its hard to choose.
Do I get my half-sleeve done or do I go the Sailor Jupiter Wand on my thigh?

or

Do I go for the Chakras down my spine or Princess Peach on my other thigh?

or

It would be nice to try them out for awhile and see how I feel before committing them to my body forever.

For others who are undecicive like me, or just don't want to commit to forever, these totally geeky, totally temportary tattoos from Seventh Skin are for you.

Lord Of The Rings

Harry Potter

A Song Of Ice And Fire (Game of Thrones)

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

The Little Mermaid

Aladdin

Beauty and the Beast

Corpse Bride

The Addams Family

Assassin's Creed

Oh now I want soooo many more tattoos...
Maybe the White Queen chest piece or The Little Mermaid chest piece. I do like the elvish script too.... so hard to choose.

At least if I try these out, it won't hurt my pocket book as much as a real tattoo. These babies run from $3-20 which is super reasonable if you ask me.

So which ones do you want?

Geeky Gamer Girl Instrumental

I've always wished that I could play an instrument. Ok, let me rephrase that. I wish that I had more time and energy and patience to play an instrument well. I can sort of play the piano and the guitar, but not very well.

That's why I'm so in awe of these lovely ladies and their talents.

Lets start with Lena Leclaire, who not only has a masters degree in flute, but also plays the Ocarina!!

I didn't even know that the Ocarina was a real instrument! Apperently it is and you can buy them here.
She plays it beautifully in this Zelda Medley

After finding this, I went to see what else she had done and came across one of my favorite pieces of Final Fantasy music; Eyes On Me

Speaking of Final Fantasy music, do you remember Camille and Kennerly, the awesome harp playing twins? They're back with a Final Fantasy Medley and both dressed as Rikku from Final X-2

I've never played Skyrim. Actually, I know next to nothing about the game other than something about taking an arrow to the knee and that it has lovely music for awesome geek girls to play

You may remember another lovely lady bringing us Skyrim music. Lindsay Sterling's also back with more amazing geek melodies.

Another game I haven't played is Assassin's Creed. But this video makes me want to

Not only is the music and her voice beautiful, but her videos and costuming are always awesome!
Since we're on a video game kick, here is something along the same lines, but also very different from the other games.

How awesome was that Just Dance 4 video? Spot on, I'd like to think.

Geek music is a wonderful thing, don't you think? If you could hear more of it, what would you want to hear? Drop me a line

Thanks to Geekologie and GT for loving geeky girls and their music as much as I do.
