I know I keep posting geek music, but it seems to just keep getting made (which I'm totally cool about.)
And if it keeps getting made, then I'm going to have to keep blogging about it.
Remember Lindsay Sterling, who brought us amazing LOTR and Zelda on her violin?
She's back, but this time she brought a friend, Peter Hollens, for this Skyrim melody
Now, I know the pen is mightier than the sword, but I didn't believe the violin bow was mightier until now.
Next we have twins, Camille and Kennerly, on electric harps playing Skyward Sword's Ballad of the Goddess
I know what you're thinking; hot twins who play harp and are into Zelda, these girls are awesome! And you would be right. They are.
Since we're talking about Zelda, here is a short, 8-bit musical.
Perhaps a little inappropriate at times, but still awesome! I can't even imagine how much work went into something like that.
On the same 8-bit musical note, here is a Mario Opera
This lovely little ditty was made by Jon and Al Kaplan. I really hope they actually do a second and third that all sound the same!
This one is a little different. It's not so much geek music as it is geek lip-syncing. But I have to post it.
I have no idea why this guy made his own Sailor Moon costumes out of construction paper or why he chose this song, but I love that he did. I'm actually quite impressed with the accuracy of all the costumes.
So, what do you think about all this music? Good? Bad? Really bad? Really good? Don't care?
Those twins are so very beautiful! I can't get over the fact that they dressed in costume and look exactly like Zelda... crazy awesome!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the sweet feature! We just uploaded another "geek music" cover today: Game of Thrones! ;) ;) Much love, x2!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! I can't wait to check out your new video and I'm sure it will warrant another spot here. Awesome geek girls will always have a place!
